Project One
A major engineering and manufacturing organisation were recruiting Graduate Engineers to work abroad in Madrid. However having been unsuccessful on a number of occasions in their search for high level candidates, Town and Partners reviewed the process they had undertaken, i.e. job role, specifications, requirements, and how they had tackled the recruitment process. Ultimately, it was evident that the recruitment advertising had not been tailored to the target audience. Town and Partners created and put forward a number of high impact advertising campaigns to the client, following which we managed the advertising recruitment process on behalf of the client. This resulted in the successful recruitment of 4 high calibre graduates who have since developed and been promoted within the organisation.
Project Two
Our client for this project is one of the top legal firms within the UK. The business had experienced significant issues in their purchasing and supply chain team and this had led to the resignation of the Head of Procurement. Town and Partners worked strategically with the client and it became apparent they were unsure as to their exact requirements and as such, Town and Partners recruited an Interim Procurement Specialist on their behalf who was able to go in and assess the business and the key priorities. From here, Town and Partners worked with the client to determine the scope of the role moving forwards and then successfully recruited a Head of Procurement for the organisation.
Project Three
This assignment was for a major building products manufacturer. The client was looking to recruit a Sales Manager for a particular region. Previously they had used a number of other consultancies without any success. Town and Partners handled the assignment, put together a shortlist of 4 individuals of which one candidate was appointed to the role and due to the quality of candidates in general, a further candidate was recruited to the business to head up the sales of another territory/area.
Project Four
A recruitment exercise within an Automotive Manufacturer. The business had significant difficulties in recruiting an HR Manager. They had little success during an 18 month period having used a number of consultancies and agencies. This was also leading to the creditability of the Head of HR being questioned. Town and Partners were brought in to tackle the assignment and quickly got to grips with understanding the key issues within the business and understood why there had been some significant problems. They worked with the client on defining the role in greater depth and looking at areas where high calibre candidates would be in-situ. From here they conducted the recruitment process for the client with the successful appointment of a HR Manager to the organisation. This individual was promoted to become Head of HR within 18 months. |
